About John Patrick

I’m a singer, songwriter and podcaster based out of Philadelphia. I just released my debut EP called Immortal Dreams which was five long years in the making. I grew up obsessed with Britney Spears and wanted to be a pop princess myself. That dream has come a long way, but I’m definitely more rock and rock/pop as I grew up. I love Amy Lee and Taylor Momsen is my spiritual and musical guide.

My music comes from my own life experiences and my battles with the things I’ve faced. Immortal Dreams was about my desire to rise to fame and become a “pop star.” That dream has gone through a lot and in my next few releases, I will be exploring the aftermath of chasing that dream and the toll it took on my personal life.

My next single Panic is about how I started to deal with paranoia and depression linked to social anxiety. From there I entered a very dark place that will be fully explored in my current project, The Vacancy Series, that I am currently working on and looking for producers to help me bring the next part of my musical vision to life.

But it’s not all work all the time. With my best friend and roommate Dean Sage, I do a weekly podcast called GSC Friday where we engage with Queer and mainstream culture, review music and entertainment, and talk truth about sex and love in our day to day lives. From Britney Spears to Bondage and BDSM. We have a good time and try to leave you with a smile of one kind or another.
